Editors Note
When the sun goes down, it will rise again the following morning. Now the Managing Editor of Omalaeti Media, Confidence Musariri has run a good race, confidently holding the baton and leading the pack in sync with his name.

At the end of his lap, in October, he handed of over the editor baton and adds the organisation to the ever increasing names of media houses responding positively to the global calls for the recognition and appointment of female scribes into such significant positions and I feel humbled by the move professionally and emotionally. Prime Focus Magazine has no doubt garnered significant trust from its readers and advertisers to become one of the leading business publications in Namibia.

The good reputation and lustre eked out and gained under the editorship of Confidence will be upheld and supported. I can assure and urge you all not to jump the ship because this female captain is not only experienced but also determined. With no intention to provoke debate and ridicule from my male counterparts in and out of the media industry, I would like to remind our readers, advertisers and stakeholders that biologically, the intelligence genes of a boy child comes from the mother and thus by implication, what a man can do a woman can do better.

I look forward to continued supportive and addicted readership and advertisers in the coming years as we strive to keep you informed, educated and entertained by this publication. PF
